The Special Adviser to the Nasarawa State Governor on Women Affairs, Hajiya Farida Umar, has called on women to remain steadfast in grassroots engagement and mobilisation efforts to secure victory for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

She made the call during an interface with women and other APC supporters from Assakyo Electoral Ward.

Addressing the women, Hajiya Farida Umar pledged to intensify sensitisation efforts across Lafia Local Government Area, while highlighting the achievements of the APC-led administration.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the Special Adviser reaffirmed her commitment to justifying the confidence reposed in her by the government and the people.

She charged women to remain politically active and committed, while commending Governor Abdullahi Sule for fostering an environment that promotes gender equality and the inclusion of women in governance.

Hajiya Farida also acknowledged the notable successes recorded by the APC government at both the state and national levels, stressing the need for citizens to galvanise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, and all APC candidates.

She emphasised that sustained support for the party would enable it to consolidate its achievements and continue to deliver on its development agenda.

She cited key milestones, including massive infrastructure development, improved healthcare services, quality education, agricultural revolution, and technological advancement, describing them as clear testimonies of the government’s commitment to the welfare of the people.

In separate remarks, the APC Chairman of Assakyo Electoral Ward, Emmanuel Ashefo, and the APC Women Leader for Lafia LGA described the mobilisation campaign as timely, noting that the APC possesses the capacity and structures to sustain good governance at all levels.

They pledged their unwavering loyalty and commitment to delivering the APC across all elective positions in 2027.
