The Investigative Committee on the activities of the Nasarawa State Education Trust Fund, NASETFUND, has submitted its report.

The report was submitted to Governor Abdullahi Sule by the Chairman of the five-member committee, Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed.

Receiving the report, Governor Abdullahi Sule appreciated the Chairman and members of the committee for carrying out the assignment within record time.

Assuring that he would look into the report without delay, the Governor said he considered the activities of NASETFUND important, hence his commitment to ensuring that the right procedures are followed in the day-to-day activities of the organisation.

Instituted in August this year, the five-member committee carried out its assignment based on five terms of reference, which included the investigation of the activities of the Executive Secretary and the management of the Nasarawa State Education Trust Fund.

Chairman of the committee and Accountant General of Nasarawa State, Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, explained that the report, which is contained in two volumes comprising the executive summary and the main report, examined each of the terms of reference individually.
