Sule Warns Nasarawa Youths Against Actions That Could Undermine Development
Governor Abdullahi Sule has cautioned youths in Nasarawa State against the activities of persons whose antics contradict the quest for sustainable development.
The Governor gave the warning when he received the Coalition of Youth Groups for Wadada.
Confident in the ability of the coalition to champion the process of ensuring that Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada succeeds him, Governor Abdullahi Sule urged members to embrace unity of purpose as they carry out their activities.
The Governor maintained that his administration is committed to empowering resourceful youths, urging them to trust Senator Wadada’s capability to give young people in Nasarawa State an edge to contribute meaningfully to the development of the state and beyond.
He also charged the group to develop a framework that would enable them to reach the grassroots and ensure that they do not engage in unnecessary disputes, but rather make their actions support the vision of a prosperous Nasarawa State.
Chairman of the Coalition, Ja’afar Loko, noted that the Coalition of Wadada Support Groups is a broad-based coalition of youth groups drawn from religious, ethnic, professional, and interest groups across Nasarawa State.
He added that the coalition has a structure spread across the senatorial districts, local government areas, electoral wards, and polling units, driven by a passion for consolidation and the quest for sustained development, thereby securing a prosperous future for Nasarawa State.
Meanwhile, the Association of Koro Communities in Nigeria, led by Daniel Sarki Aparshe, paid a solidarity visit to Governor Abdullahi Sule, where appreciation of his commitment to the wellbeing of the people and development issues dominated the discussions.
The Koro people dissociated themselves from the attitude of some of their members, but assured the Governor of their resolve to continue to align with the administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule and its stance on good governance.
