Information Commissioner Reaffirms Commitment To Projects
The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Nawani Aboki, has reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration to completing ongoing projects and commencing new ones across the state.
Dr. Aboki stated this during his maiden press briefing held at his office in Lafia on Monday.
The Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Nawani Aboki, said Governor Sule’s administration is laying a solid foundation for a modern and prosperous Nasarawa State which, according to him, will provide a platform for future administrations to consolidate, expand and sustain development for generations yet unborn.
Dr. Aboki noted that as the administration approaches the end of its tenure on May 29, 2027, the state will enter another important phase in its political and developmental history.
He pledged to work closely with journalists across the state by providing timely access to information and creating an enabling environment for effective publicity and public enlightenment on government policies and programmes.
The Commissioner also disclosed that the ministry would soon make available to the media and the public its blueprint and priority programmes for the next six months.
Dr. Nawani Aboki called for continued partnership with the media towards educating the public on the benefits of government policies and programmes.
