Women’s Group Mobilises Support For Wadada, APC Candidates
The Women Group, “Zallah Bakin Rijiya for Wadada,” has promised to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group’s Coordinator, Hajiya Hauwa Tanko, made the call during an event organised by the Women Bakin Rijiya Group, specifically urging women across the nine electoral wards to support the candidates.
Hauwa Tanko stated that the support was based on the recognition of the numerous development and infrastructure projects currently being delivered by the present administration.
She also appealed to the government to provide capital to women to enable them to start and expand their businesses.
She urged all members to extend their support to all APC candidates, including Senator Wadada, Nalaraba, Danbala Al-Makura, and Imam Zanwa.
The APC Chairman of Lafia Local Government, Alhaji Umar Galadima, expressed appreciation for the presence of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Nasarawa State, Muhammad Abubakar; the APC State Chairman; and other esteemed dignitaries at the event.
Galadima affirmed that the party was fully prepared to secure victory in the 2027 elections and called on the people to support one another, irrespective of tribe, religion, or political affiliation.
Some APC officials at the event commended the organisers and pledged their support for women at all levels, just as the occasion concluded with a grand finale featuring vibrant performances by musicians, singers, and other entertainers.
