White Chamber Obi Supports Hospital Patients With Cash And Relief Items
A political pressure group, White Chamber Obi, has distributed cash and detergents to patients at the Obi General Hospital and Osoku Herbal Centre as part of activities marking the first 100 days in office of the Chairman of the Nasarawa State Internal Revenue Service, Ibrahim Adamu Sarki.
Chairman of the group, Shuaibu Ibrahim Ashefo, who led other members during the presentation at the General Hospital Obi, said the gesture was aimed at contributing their quota to the wellbeing of less privileged members of society.
Presenting cash and detergents to patients at the General Hospital Obi, Chairman of White Chamber Obi, Shuaibu Ibrahim Ashefo, said the gesture was intended to commemorate the first 100 days in office of the Chairman of the Nasarawa State Internal Revenue Service, Ibrahim Adamu Sarki.
“We are giving these items out with cash to commemorate our boss’s one hundred days in office, so that vulnerable persons will feel the impact.”
Ashefo, who was accompanied by other members of the group, said they were at the hospital to convey the goodwill message of their principal.
He urged the beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture by praying for the success of the donor in the discharge of his responsibilities.
Responding, the Superintendent of the General Hospital Obi, Dr. Agya Daniel Ismaila, commended White Chamber Obi and Ibrahim Adamu Sarki for the gesture.
Dr. Ismaila also called on non-governmental organisations, philanthropists, and other well-meaning individuals to emulate the gesture by extending support to patients and vulnerable members of society.
A similar gesture was extended to patients at the Osoku Herbal Centre, where the herbalist, Yusuf Osoku Adi, expressed appreciation to the donor and appealed to the government to construct and rehabilitate the road linking the centre.
