Migili APC Stakeholders Mobilize for 2027
Strategic Meeting: Ahead of the 2027 General Elections, the Director General of NAGIS, Sonny Agassi, hosted Migili APC stakeholders at the Gude Jenkwe Area Administrative Council to fine-tune grassroots mobilization strategies.
Consolidating Achievements: Addressing the gathering, Agassi emphasized that the APC-led administration has achieved tremendous milestones in critical sectors. He called on the Migili Nation—whom he described as peace-loving—to rally behind the ruling party to consolidate these achievements, expressing strong confidence in their ability to deliver victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, and other party candidates.
Call for Responsible Media Use: Agassi also urged various social media groups to focus on promoting government policies through issue-based discussions, cautioning them against inciting comments that could create acrimony among elders and youths.
Endorsements & Appeals: The APC candidate for Obi II Constituency, Agidi Umeri Peter, led a delegation to thank Agassi for his political magnanimity. Various other speakers—including former Obi Council Chairman DSP Joshua Agivo, Associate Professor Joshua Magaji, and Deputy Council Chairman Musa Elisha Dabioga—praised Agassi as an astute administrator and appealed to party authorities to consider him as Senator Wadada’s running mate.
