Hassan Abubakar Nalaraba, member representing Awe, Keana-Doma Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, has called on the Chairman and Members of the Legislative Arm of Keana Local Government Council to work together as a team to bring about growth and development to the people. He made this plea during the swearing-in ceremony of the Deputy Chairman and Councilors of Keana Local Government.

Nalaraba commended Governor Abdullahi Sule and the state Independent Electoral Commission for conducting a hitch-free local government election in the state. He encouraged the newly sworn-in officials to utilize this opportunity to bring positive development to the grassroots.

The lawmaker expressed confidence in the Chairman and Members of the legislative Council of Keana LGC, urging them to collaborate to address the security challenges in the area. Chairman of Keana LGC, Adamu Aboki Usman, also emphasized the need for synergy between the Executive and legislative arms to drive positive development.

  • Rilwanu Dogara, Korodo Abdulmalik, and Kabiru Omadefu were elected as Deputy Speaker, Majority Leader, and Chief Whip, respectively.
