Dr Sani Dawop Explains Why Dangote Sugar Refinery Tunga’s Full Operations Are Yet to Commence

The Dangote Sugar Refinery Tunga has given reasons for the delay in commencement of full operations.General Manager Human Asset Management, Dangote Sugar Company Limited Doctor Sani Dawop gave the reasons during an interactive session with news men in his Office.

The Dangote Sugar Company Limited Tunga which came on board since 2017, is expected to be producing twelve thousand tones of sugar per day to be able to meet the needs of consumers.

The inability of the Company to commence full operations is becoming a source of concern to the people.

However, this concern is being put to rest as the General Manager Human Asset Management Dangote Doctor Sani Dawop said order for the machineries have been made and once they arrived, they will commence full operations.

Speaking on their Corporate Social Responsibility, Doctor Sani said 250 students from the host communities are benefiting from the company’s Scholarship in addition to provision of boreholes and other incentives.

According him, the Company is planning to organize quiz competition for secondary schools in Nasarawa State to add value to the education system.
