Protect Public Property: Nasarawa State Sounds Alarm on Vandalism
The Nasarawa State Government has issued a stern warning to communities against vandalizing government projects, particularly solar installations, sited in their areas. State Commissioner for Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Muhammad Iyimoga Oyigye, conveyed this message during an inspection of solar installations in Akwanga and Kokona Local Government Areas.
Oyigye expressed satisfaction with the solar installation projects, praising the authorities of Akwanga, Keffi and Kokona Local Governments for ensuring quality work and strategic placement of the solar systems. However, he cautioned residents against damaging these projects, emphasizing the importance of preserving public property.
