The Overseer of Agwada Development Area, Adamu Agye has identified lack of funds as one of the challenges facing development areas in the state.

He made the disclosure in an interview with NBS NEWS at his office in Agwada.

Speaking on the challenges facing development area administration, the overseer of Agwada Development area, Adamu Agye, said lack of funds accrued to the development area hinders execution of some projects that will benefit rural communities.

According to  Agye, since he assumed office in 2021, he  has been facing numerous challenges including lack of furniture in various offices but added that he  was able to renovate and furnished the offices as well as the Guest house.

The overseer disclosed that he provided a number of boreholes in Agwada, Kana and Huri in Kofar Gwari communities as well as building of Primary Health Care cold chain room for the storage of medical equipment at the Secretariat.

He appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for his people’s oriented policies that affect the lives of rural populace positively, calling on the people of the area to rally round the governor to succeed.
