APC Stakeholders Mobilise for 2027 Victory in Karu
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Tatara/Kondoro Electoral Ward of Karu Local Government Area have resolved to work together to ensure victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
The resolution was reached during a meeting convened by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Greater Karu Development Control Agency, Enam Rabo Bawa, at Government Secondary School, Tatara.
The APC stakeholders’ meeting, convened by Enam Rabo Bawa, was attended by political appointees, ward officials and heads of the 28 polling units in Tatara/Kondoro Electoral Ward of Karu Local Government Area.
During the meeting, participants took turns to examine factors that could improve the chances of the APC in the 2027 elections.
The party Chairman in Kuda Yeskwa Polling Unit, Audu Jidda, and the Women Leader of Angwan Ayaba Polling Unit, Safiya Danladi, stressed the need for party officials to shun greed and build goodwill in order to attract more support for the party.
The Chairman of APC in Karu Local Government Area, Samson Muntari, and the Councillor representing Tatara/Kondoro Electoral Ward, Ninda Yona, commended Bawa for organising the meeting, saying it would go a long way in addressing identified gaps.
They called for collective efforts to ensure the success of the APC, which they said had performed well for the people, particularly at the grassroots.
Convener of the meeting, Enam Rabo Bawa, told the gathering that the engagement was aimed at enlightening residents on the efforts of Governor Abdullahi Sule to industrialise the state, secure the lives and property of the people and encourage those at the grassroots to continue to have confidence in the APC.
While appreciating APC leaders at the grassroots for their efforts in mobilising support for the party, Enam Rabo Bawa encouraged them to engage regularly with the people to keep them informed about the development efforts of the government.
He also urged them to guard against anti-party activities capable of weakening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Despite what he described as persuasions by opposition parties in the build-up to the 2027 general elections, Bawa urged APC members to remain committed to the party and avoid internal disagreements capable of causing division among members.
A similar meeting was held in Gitata Electoral Ward, where speakers, including the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Strategic Communication, Ambuti Moses Benjamin, Alhaji Yaro Chindo Gitata and Sarah Timothy, called for the provision of water and other basic social services for the community.
They described the area as a stronghold of the APC, while stressing the need for government to continue to address the basic needs of the people.
The meeting also witnessed the defection of members of other political parties into the APC, led by Philip Akuson.
