Ven. Jibrailu Yerima

Inspecting Support: Venerable Jibrailu Yarima Dabong, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Christian Religious Affairs, embarked on tour visits to various churches that received financial intervention from the state government.

Securing Sacred Spaces: Two years ago, Governor Sule extended financial support to Saint John’s Anglican Church in Gudi to help complete their building project. Following issues with open premises being encroached upon by cattle grazers, the Governor dispatched Venerable Dabong to deliver fresh funds specifically designated for constructing a protective security fence.

Roofing and Community Engagement: Venerable Dabong also visited St. Patrick’s Anglican Church in Moroa River to present financial backing for completing their roof. Reverend Canon Solomon Akaa praised the Governor as a champion of religious tolerance. Later, at the ECWA Church in Auta Balefi, Dabong sensitized the Christian community on the critical importance of active political participation to drive state and national growth—a message warmly received by Reverend Gideon Maigida.
