Governor Sule Honored as North Central Aides Forum Pledges Grassroots Support
The Forum of Senior Special Assistants to the Governors in the North Central States has formally recognized the governance record of Governor Abdullahi Sule, praising his ongoing efforts to entrench accountability, transparency, and sustainable development across Nasarawa State. The commendation was delivered when the executive leadership of the forum paid an official courtesy visit to the governor at the Government House.
During the meeting, the delegation officially decorated Governor Abdullahi Sule as the Grand Patron of the regional forum. Accepting the honor, Governor Sule expressed deep appreciation to the group, noting that being appointed to such a position by aides across the entire North Central geopolitical zone was both humbling and encouraging. He praised the forum’s proactive advocacy for good governance and commended their public awareness campaigns that highlight the joint developmental initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the regional state executives. Encouraging the group as they finalize preparations for an upcoming North Central Retreat, Governor Sule charged the aides to deepen their interactions with their respective governors to foster political stability and seamless policy execution.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the Forum, Ezekiel Oruma, outlined the core mandate of the organization, emphasizing its dedication to bridging the communication gap between state leadership and citizens at the grassroots level. Oruma noted that the forum remains firmly aligned with the patriotic vision of President Tinubu and the North Central governors. He particularly praised Governor Sule’s administrative acumen, pointing out his proven ability to prudently manage state resources to execute capital projects that directly improve the living standards of everyday citizens.
