Broadcasters in Nasarawa State are learning how to better navigate workplace dynamics, improve on-air communication, and connect deeper with audiences following a specialized workshop on emotional intelligence.

Organized for the staff of the Nasarawa Broadcasting Service (NBS), the training focused on helping media personnel recognize and regulate their unique temperament traits—whether choleric, phlegmatic, sanguine, or melancholy. Workshop facilitator Babatunde Oladipo explained that understanding these natural personality types empowers broadcasters to manage interpersonal conflicts and control on-air stress.

Representing the Executive Vice Chairman of NBS, Tina Cyril (Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics) emphasized that a harmonious team environment directly leads to better broadcasting output. Media staff in attendance, including Kingsley Adams, Hajara Mailafia, and Sabon Barki, praised management for setting up the session and called for regular follow-up workshops.
