Eggon People Urged to Promote Peace and Unity

Mandy David Abuluya, President of the Eggon Cultural Development Association (ECDA), emphasized the importance of Eggon people, especially youths, being ambassadors of peace and unity wherever they reside. Abuluya made this statement during the inauguration of Ame Wo Ba Eggon’s national leadership at Eggon Community Secondary School, Nasarawa Eggon.

Abuluya stressed the need for the new leadership to unite Eggon people and foster peaceful relationships with other ethnic groups. He emphasized leading with integrity, transparency, and loyalty to those in authority.

Former Eggon Youth Movement President Ambassador Isaac Kigbu and Eggon Youth Wing’s Godwin Samson Dugga advocated for inclusivity and prayed for the new leadership’s success. Comrade Jonathan Akpaho Samuel, Ame Wo Ba Eggon’s President, expressed gratitude and pledged to uphold the association’s trust.

The new leadership, elected on October 19, 2024, will serve for two years.
