Nasarawa State Revitalizes Critical Infrastructure: Mugalaki Bridge Reconstruction Underway
Nasarawa State Commissioner for Local Government, Community Development, and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mohammed Iyimoga Oyige, has praised Governor Abdullahi Sule for awarding the contract to rebuild the Mugalaki Bridge in Obi town. This vital link connects Obi, Keana, and parts of Benue State, and its reconstruction is a significant relief for residents and commuters who have struggled with the bridge’s disrepair for years.
During a site visit, Oyige expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction work, calling Governor Sule’s decision to embark on the project “a dream come true” for the Obi community. He also commended the governor’s broader initiatives aimed at industrialization and development across the state, highlighting transformative changes in various sectors.
Oyige urged the Obi community to reciprocate the governor’s support by backing his administration, citing the appointment of many Obi sons and daughters to key positions in the state government. Ishaleku Daniel Ali, a resident of Obi community, echoed this sentiment, thanking Governor Sule for coming to their aid and pledging the community’s support.
