The Nasarawa State Government has reiterated its determination to ensure the timely completion of ongoing projects across the state.

Governor Abdullahi Sule gave the commitment while on an unscheduled visit to the ongoing Mararaba flyover project.

Government House Correspondent, Mohammed Shafa, has the details.

Worried by the gridlock that has always characterised the Mararaba-Keffi Trunk ‘A’ highway, the administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule saw the need to find a one-stop solution to the problem, hence the commencement of the twin flyovers in December last year.

From the groundbreaking of the project, the contractors did not waste time in ensuring that every minute was accounted for, as heavy-duty equipment was deployed to the site.

Although commuters have been inconvenienced by the construction activities, there is evidence that better days lie ahead.

It is in furtherance of this commitment that the recent visit of Governor Abdullahi Sule to the project site was seen as another indication of the state government’s determination to ensure that the project is delivered on schedule.

Similarly, Governor Abdullahi Sule also inspected the Keffi flyover, where the contractors have intensified efforts to ensure timely completion.

While appreciating the quality of work being done on the project, Governor Sule enjoined the contractors, Bahus Nigeria Limited, to redouble their efforts while ensuring that the flyover meets the required specifications.
