Principals Unite for Girl Child Education
In a significant move to promote girl child education, principals of secondary schools in Nasarawa State have reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing educational opportunities for young girls. This renewed commitment was announced by Christopher Ogiri, President of the Association of Nigerian Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPS), at a training session specifically designed for principals, chief evaluation officers, and key stakeholders Âą.
The training, held in Lafia, Akwanga, and Keffi local government areas, was part of the State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) project. Ogiri emphasized the critical role education plays in empowering girl children, underscoring ANCOPS’ resolve to ensure the project’s success in the state Âą.
