A Call on Young Pharmacists to Embrace Tech, Implement Best Practices

The Young Pharmacists Group of Nigeria has been asked to embrace innovation and execute best practices to give the greatest consideration to patients in the country.

General Manager of the Nasarawa State Drugs and Supplies Management Agency, Haruna Wakili, expressed this during the inaugural summit of the Young Pharmacists Group of Nigeria at First Crown Hotel in Lafia.

The General Manager underscored the significance of proactive measures in propelling the pharmaceutical industry.

Haruna Wakili, highlighted the invaluable contributions young pharmacists bring through their innovative ideas and fresh perspectives, which are essential for driving future transformations in the industry.

He said the agency’s center goal is to take out fake drug items and advance the dissemination of safe and quality health commodities and called on the Northern Young Pharmacists Group to uphold a high standard of excellence, integrity, and commitment to serving humanity.

National Chairman of the Board of Fellows of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Pharmacist Dr. Joel Adagazu, urged the young pharmacists to collaborate closely and diligently tackle the challenges facing the pharmacy profession for the benefit of future generations.
