Nasarawa State Government Partners NIPR
Governor Abdullahi Sule says government is partnering the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations towards projecting the image of the state.
The Governor made this position known when he hosted the Chairman and members of the institute at the Government House Lafia.
Pleased with their visit, Governor Abdullahi Sule said their idea is received on a positive note as it will complement governments efforts at harness the potential of Nasarawa State, describing NIPR as a worthy ally in the development pursuit by the state governments.
The Governor lauded their level of sacrifice towards advancing the course of development of their state and country, maintaining that his administration will welcome their contribution to that effect.
He assured of continued collaboration with individuals and groups who are keen on seeing the state aligning with its counterparts on the socio-economic front, just as he encouraged the members of the NIPR in Nasarawa State continue to work towards attracting the institute to Nasarawa State.
Established in nineteen sixty-three, the NIPR is saddled with the regulation, registration and monitoring of activities of members, hence its Nasarawa State Chapter is poised to ensure the state performs optimally where members maximize the benefits in showcasing the potential of the state. Joseph Attah, the State Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, apart from highlighting the need for the state to leverage the use of social media to portray the beauty of the state, also noted the need for the NIPR to be given the chance to train political appointees, information and public relations offers to acquaint them with basic trends.
