Forum of Permanent Secretaries Celebrates Gov Sule’s Victory in Swanky Style
Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has affirmed his administration’s regard to the office of the Permanent Secretary.
He said this during a reception organized by the Forum of Permanent Secretaries in Service held in his honour at Nasarawa Luxury Hotel in Lafia.
It was a glamorous setting that afforded Governor Abdullahi Sule, his Deputy, Doctor Emmanuel Akabe and some top government functionaries the chance to unwind.
The reception organized by the Forum of Permanent Secretaries in Nasarawa State was to celebrate the unique traits of the Governor.
To what can be described as a bright night, the Permanent Secretaries and other guest were mostly dressed in white, symbolizing peace, selflessness and accountability as explained by the organizers, speakers at the event and the state Chairman of the APC, Aliyu Bello.
From the State Head of Service, Barrister Abigail Waya, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Musa Dangana to the State Accountant General, Musa Ahmed Mohammed, Governor Abdullahi Sule is an embodiment of quality leadership, saying his style of governance has afforded the state to grow in human and material resources.
Elated by the gesture, the Governor said he believed in the capacity of Permanent Secretaries in the implementation of government policies and programmes.
According to Governor Sule, their services to the state is enormous, hence he will continue to give them the enabling environment to perform optimally.
Away from the reception, Governor Abdullahi Sule displayed his soccer skills at the Lafia City Stadium in a novelty football match between the All-Star Veterans of the southern part of the state and their northern counterparts.
The match ended one goal a piece with Governor Abdullahi Sule scoring the only goal for the northern zone, which was later equalized by the Chairman, Nasarawa State Football Association, Alhaji Salisu Galadima.
