First Lady Tasks Parents on Upbringing of Children
The Nasarawa State First Lady, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule has renewed the call on parents to ensure proper upbringing of their children.
She made the call at the Ramadan Tafsir organized by the Federation of Muslim Women Association, FOMWAN in Lafia.
Emphasizing the blessings that abound in attending Tafsir during Ramadan, the State First Lady Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule called on wealthy individuals to always support those in need during this Holy Month.
The State First Lady who tasked parents to ensure that their children are brought up in a proper way, assured of her commitment to the welfare of the less privileged.
Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule used the occasion to remind Nigerians to seek divine intervention over the challenges facing the country.
She advised the women to always assist their husbands and put into use what they have learned during Ramadan.
The State Ameerah of FOMWAN, Dr. Hasiya Ahmed who doubles as the Secretary of NSUBEB explained that the Tafsir is organized annually with a view to enriching Muslims, especially women with the basic knowledge of Islam.
