Business Registration: CAC, NASENI to Deploy AI

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) said it is embracing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to improve registration of businesses in Nigeria.

The Nierian agency responsible for company registration said it is collaborating with the National Agency for Science and Engineering

Infrastructure (NASENI) to leverage AI to strengthen its operational efficiency and drive seamless business registration.

Ishaq Magaji SAN, CAC Registrar-General and CEO, who disclosed this when he met with Khalil Sulaiman, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of NASENI, said that both government agencies are exploring avenues for integrating AI technology into CAC’s operations.

Magaji, who highlighted the substantial progress made in CAC’s Registration Portal since assuming office in October 2023, said it is imperative to sustain this momentum through the adoption of cutting-age AI solutions to expedite company registrations in Nigeria in line with global standards.
