APC: Speaker Danladi Advocates for Peace, Unity and Forgiveness to Strengthen Party Structure
Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has called for peace, unity and forgiveness among members of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to strengthen the structure of the party in the state.
The speaker made the call at a stakeholders’ meeting of the party from the Western Zone in Keffi town at the weekend.
The APC caucus meeting had in attendance, Professor Abdulkarim Kana, APC National Legal Adviser, Aliyu Bello, Nasarawa State APC Chairman, Abdulmumin Ari, Member House of Representatives for Nasarawa/Toto, State Assembly lawmakers, Local government Chairmen, local government Party Chairmen, state Commissioners, among others where issues of peace, unity and forgiveness among party stakeholders for the overall progress of the party topped discourse.
The convener of the meeting and Speaker of the State house of Assembly Danladi Jatau underscored the importance of peace, unity and forgiveness among party members as crucial for the party’s victory in subsequent elections.
While saying stakeholders and members of the party must remain united and focused at all times, the speaker also appreciated the stakeholders for their support to his leadership as Speaker of the State House of Assembly.
He added that the meeting was aimed at drumming support for the developmental strides of Engr. Abdullahi Sule led administration.
The Speaker assured Gov. Sule of the 7th Assembly’s readiness to rally round him for the overall development of the State.
Speakers at the event commended the speaker for summoning the stakeholders to discuss the progress of the party and pledged to put in their best to further advance the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in the state.
