Nunku Community Development Association Inaugurates Caretaker Committee
The Nunku Community Development Association (NCDA) has inaugurated a Caretaker Committee, tasked with promoting unity and advancement of the community.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the LGEA Primary School Nunku, Akwanga Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event, the Sarkin Nunku, Ibrahim Adamu Mohammed emphasized the importance of unity in driving progress in the community urging the newly appointed Executive members of the Committee to lead with selflessness, honesty, and a strong focus on initiatives that foster unity, peace, and growth of the association.
The traditional ruler also called on privileged community members, especially those in government, to contribute to the development of the locality.
Administering oath of allegiance to the Caretaker Committee, Barrister Alheri Mugla Sale, called on members of the Committee to adhere to constitutional provisions in fulfilling their responsibilities.
The newly appointed Care Taker Committee Chairman of NCDA, Nunku Chapter, Comrade Garba Dangoria, expressed commitment to prioritizing initiatives that will promote unity and progress in the community and stressed the need for cooperation and understanding among members to rejuvenate the association and restore its former glory.
The other members of the Caretaker Committee include Saidu Audu, Deputy Chairman, Usman Qassim Abdullahi Secretary, Bashir Shaibu, Treasurer, Abubakar Bashir, Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Usman, Auditor among others.
