Imam Attributes Nigeria’s Hardship to Spiritual Fallout

Chief Imam of Police Barack Jumaat Mosque, CSP Yakubu Idris, emphasized the role of spirituality in addressing Nigeria’s challenges during his Friday sermon in Lafia. He attributed the country’s hardship to mankind’s spiritual fallout, urging Muslims to draw closer to God and adhere to divine laws.

CSP Idris stressed that sincere repentance is the only way to overcome the current predicament, citing verses from the Quran to support his message. He warned that societies that deviate from divine rules will continue to face calamities, encouraging Nigerians to seek Allah’s guidance rather than relying solely on leaders.

In addition to his spiritual guidance, the cleric advocated for peaceful conduct during the upcoming local government elections in Nasarawa State.

Meanwhile, the Muslim Sisters’ Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Nasarawa State chapter concluded its annual conference with a call to action. The conference, held in Nasarawa Eggon, encouraged participants to apply their knowledge and become good ambassadors in society.
