Fire Victims in Nasarawa Eggon Appeal for Aid
Victims of a devastating fire in Nasarawa Eggon are seeking immediate assistance from the government and generous individuals to rebuild their lives.
The fire, which occurred on Friday night, razed 16 shops opposite the Aren Eggon Ultra Modern Market, leaving owners in distress.This tragedy is the latest in a series of disasters to hit Nasarawa State, including Wamba and Akwanga.
The victims are appealing for help from the state and local government, as well as individuals, to overcome the hardships they’re facing .
Anzah Ibrahim Amidu, Chairman of the Traders and Marketers Association in Nasarawa Eggon, emphasized the need for urgent government intervention to alleviate their suffering.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Yusuf Mada, Deputy Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Council, urged the victims to consider the fire as an act of God and assured them that the council would provide aid.
