New NAYES GM Calls for Commitment to Duties
The newly appointed General Manager of the Nasarawa State Youth Empowerment Agency (NAYES) Abdullahi Bala has called for commitment from personnel to achieve the set objectives.
The General Manager stated this while addressing personnel of the agency shortly after resuming duty.
Upon his arrival at the command headquarters, the General Manager was accorded a warm welcome with a vibrant parade and guard of honor, marking the beginning of his tenure at NAYES.
Expressing his commitment to upholding high standards of discipline in the agency, the GM, Abdullahi Bala warned against acts of misconduct that have marred the agency’s reputation, and vowed to instill a culture of accountability and integrity among the workforce.
While urging them to remain vigilant in combating criminal activities, traffic violations, and other acts, Bala reiterated the need for a shift in mindset, highlighting the importance of diligence and professionalism in carrying out their duties.
He further affirmed the agency’s dedication to supporting government initiatives in tackling security challenges in parts of Lafia, curbing indiscriminate parking on highways, and promoting adherence to monthly sanitation exercise.
He urged NAYES personnel to strive for excellence and emphasized the crucial role they play in fostering a safer and cleaner environment for all citizens.
Abdullahi Bala called on the public to eschew negative behaviors that are capable of undermining the state’s progress and development, appealing for increased support to enable NAYES effectively fulfill its mandate.
