A Call On The Rich To Assist The Needy

An Islamic cleric, Ustaz Muhammad Sarki Muhammad has tasked wealthy individuals to be more generous to the needy especially at this moment of economic hardship.

He made the call during a Ramadan lecture and distribution of Eid-fitr palliatives to the orphans at juma’at mosque behind youth center in Lafia.

The gesture courtesy, Nisa’un Ansar Lid-Da’awah wakafa Latil Aitam was deliberate effort to put smiles on the faces of the needy where Ustaz Muhammad Sarki Muhammad said it is a practical demonstration of a virtues that Quran and Sunna advocated.

While making reference that Allah mentioned orphans at least 25 times in the glorious Quran, reminded believers that anyone who cares for an orphan will make paradise.

Ustaz Muhammad challenged well to do individuals to invest their resources in service of God and humanity.

The Islamic cleric observed with dismay the astronomical increase in price of goods and services in the market urging business owners and traders to fear God.

Also speaking the chief Iman of jummuat mosque behind NBS lafia Ustaz Abdullahi Adamu described the initiative as remarkable and encouraged the association to extend it benevolence to sponsoring the education of orphans.

Speaking on the rational behind the gesture, the chairperson of Nisa’un Ansar Lid-Da’awah wakafa Latil Aitam Zainab Abdullahi sabo Baba noted that it was a deliberate move to ameliorate the plight of the orphans.
