Ichichene Women Smile Home With Financial Assistance
An appeal has been made for Migili nation to steer clear issues that will retard development in their community.
Chairman of the Governing Council, College of Education Akwanga, Mr. Ishaya Awotu made the plea during a special event to present financial assistance to women groups in Ichichene Community of Jenkwe Development Area.
Addressing the community, Mr. Ishaya Awotu stressed the need for Migili people to uphold truth and avoid self centred politicians who may want to use them for personal gains.
Commending Governor Sule for the development and progress achieved across the state, particularly in peace building, road infrastructure, and the provision of clean water, Mr. Awotu called for increased security measures to safeguard as the rainy season approaches.
During the event, Mr. Ishaya Awotu gave financial support to some women in the community to enable them celebrate Easter with.
Some speakers at the event applauded Mr. Ishaya Awotu’s efforts towards the growth and development of the Migili nation.
Leaders of the women groups while appreciating the gesture, described Mr. Awotu as a caring individual, calling on others to emulate him.
