Notorious Kidnapper Arrested by Nasarawa State Security Forces
A notorious suspected kidnapper, terrorizing various regions in Nasarawa State, has been apprehended by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC). Commandant Muhammed Kabiru Ingawa announced the arrest while parading the suspect at the command’s headquarters in Lafia.
Deputy Superintendent Victor Jerry, the state’s Public Relations Officer for the NSCDC, presented the suspect, known as Shege, who is believed to be the mastermind behind a series of kidnapping incidents in Nasarawa Eggon, Wamba, Akwanga, and extending into Plateau and Bauchi States.
The commandant revealed that the kidnapper kingpin was arrested alongside accomplice Muhammed Lawal and will be transferred to the police command for further investigation and prosecution.
Additionally, the NSCDC paraded other suspects, including serial rapist Ali Yakubu, arrested for the rape of an eight-year-old girl in Bukan Sidi, Lafia, and two individuals specializing in the vandalism of high-tension cables in Shabu and Lafia.
Commandant Ingawa expressed gratitude to the public for their support and encouraged continued collaboration to help minimize crime rates in the state.
