CAN Chairman Urges Inclusivity and Good Governance in Doma Local Government
Reverend Joseph Anzaku, Chairman of the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Doma Local Government, has called on Chairman Jonathan Okuba Addra to embrace diversity and foster unity among people of different political, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. Anzaku made this plea during a special prayer session held at the Local Government secretariat in Doma.
Anzaku emphasized the importance of seeking God’s wisdom to guide Addra in delivering on his mandate. Citing Corinthians 3:23-25, he stressed that good deeds attract divine rewards and encouraged Addra to adopt an open-door policy for effective governance.
State APC Legal Adviser Barr Obashi Thomas Ogu also advised Addra to reunite the community, fulfill campaign promises, and garner support for the APC.
In response, Chairman Addra expressed gratitude for the support and assured his commitment to establishing an inclusive government, promoting unity, and driving progress in the area.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is the umbrella body for all Christians in Nigeria, focusing on unity, welfare, and national spiritual and moral well-being. This initiative aligns with CAN’s mission to promote understanding, peace, and unity among Nigerians.
