State Statistician General Advocates for Accurate Data
Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim, the Statistician General of Nasarawa State, has emphasized the crucial role of reliable and accurate data in effective policy implementation. During his visit to the Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Agency in Lafia, Dr. Ibrahim stressed that quality data is essential for informed decision-making and evidence-based operations.
As part of his ongoing tour of relevant ministries and agencies, Dr. Ibrahim aims to identify potential areas for collaboration and familiarize himself with their operations. He highlighted the Human Capital Development Agency’s strategic importance in providing quality data, which is vital for enhancing government initiatives in human capital development.

Director General Habiba Balarabe Suleiman praised Governor Abdullahi Sule for establishing the office of the Statistician General, noting that it has eased their work in providing necessary interventions for vulnerable groups. The agency has also been training youth and women to build capacity and confidence, including training on CNG conversion to promote green energy.
