Fidelity Bank and Abbasid Charity Foundation Provide Relief to Vulnerable Communities in Nasarawa Eggon
In a heartfelt initiative, approximately 1,500 vulnerable individuals in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area have received food donations, thanks to Fidelity Bank PLC in partnership with the Abbasid Charity Foundation. This effort aims to alleviate the impacts of hunger and hardship faced by many in the region.
Mrs. Vanessa Mordi, the Abuja Regional Manager of Fidelity Bank PLC, highlighted that the Fidelity Food Bank Programme is a key part of the bank’s social responsibility initiatives. She reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to giving back and pledged to continue supporting this vital program.
Hauwa Maigiddah, Founder of the Abbasid Charity Foundation, echoed Mordi’s sentiments, noting that various communities throughout the state have benefited from these ongoing efforts.
Both Barr. Iliya Aliyu Ibn, Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon LG, and retired Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku, Aren Eggon, expressed their gratitude towards Fidelity Bank and Abbasid Charity Foundation for their generosity. They encouraged other organizations to follow this model of support.
