Doma Local Government Legislative Arm Passes 2025 Appropriation Bill into Law

The Doma Local Government Legislative arm has passed the Council’s twenty twenty-five Appropriation Bill into law.

The passage of the appropriation bill into law took place at Doma Local Government secretariat in Doma Tuesday.

Passing the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law after first and second readings, speaker Doma Local Government Legislative council, Fidelis Adagowuso said the lawmakers have done that after thorough scrutiny of the proposal.

Having exhaustively studied and analyzed the budget titled “the budget of development initiatives”, of seven billion, one hundred and ninety-three million, four hundred and twenty-four thousand, six hundred and sixty four naira, thirty two Kobo, the speaker commended the finance and appropriation committee for a job well done

Earlier, the chairman committee on finance and appropriation and councilor representing Madauchi ward, Musa Ibrahim Kpanya moved a motion for the passage of the 2025 appropriation bill into law which was seconded by the deputy speaker and councilor representing Alagye ward, ldris Haruna Anah.

In a separate development, councilor representing Galadima ward, Francis Dangana Ebeshi moved a motion for the suspension of the councilor representing Sabon Gari ward, Abdullahi Sani Muhammad for the act of insubordination and gross misconduct as seconded by the deputy speaker

Consequently, the speaker suspended Abdullahi Sani Muhammad for six months the sitting was adjourned to twentieth February twenty twenty-five as seconded by the councilor representing Doka electoral ward, Musa Ayene Isa.
