Wadada Says Growing Support Signals APC Victory in 2027
The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa State, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, has expressed confidence that the growing support and solidarity being demonstrated across the state are clear indications of victory for the party in the 2027 governorship election.
Senator Wadada stated this when the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Wadada Project 2027, Yakubu Kwanta, formally presented the structure and plan of action of the movement to him at the Keffi Polo Ranch.
Presenting the strategic structure of the Wadada Project 2027 to the APC governorship candidate, the Chairman of the project’s Advisory Committee, Yakubu Kwanta, said the structure brings together coordinators from the 13 Local Government Areas, 18 Area Administrative Councils, 147 wards and polling units, as well as women leaders across the state.
Kwanta, who is also the Commissioner for Works, Transport and Infrastructure, affirmed the commitment of the movement to mobilising massive support for the APC and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“We have developed this structure and plan of action to ensure that every part of Nasarawa State is effectively reached. Our coordinators and ward leaders have a responsibility to mobilise and work together towards achieving the objectives of the Wadada Project 2027.”
Speaking during the event, the APC Governorship Candidate, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the movement for their commitment to building a strong grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 election.
He said the growing solidarity and support being demonstrated across the state were encouraging and, in his view, clear indications of victory for the party.
“The level of support and solidarity we are receiving across the state is encouraging. It is a clear indication that our people are ready for a new direction, and we are confident of victory in 2027.”
The APC governorship candidate urged members of the movement to remain united, committed and focused while ensuring that their activities remained peaceful and issue-driven.
He also promised to provide transformative and impactful governance if given the mandate by the people of Nasarawa State.
In a related development, Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Herders/Farmers Relations, Khadijat Adamu, has called for stronger support for all candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the 2027 general elections to ensure continuity of what she described as impactful governance.
Khadijat Adamu made the call during a meeting with selected women and men from various communities in Haderi Electoral Ward of Kokona Local Government Area.
The meeting, held at her instance at Pilot Science Primary School, Sabongida, also provided an opportunity for the Special Assistant to appreciate the people for their support for the present administration.
She emphasised the need for residents to sustain the gains recorded under the government.
The Special Assistant commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for what she described as his transformative and impactful leadership, particularly in the areas of security, infrastructure and other sectors of the state’s development.
She urged the people to sustain their support for the administration and all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
