Governor Sule Says Projects Are For The Benefit Nasarawa People
Governor Abdullahi Sule says the developmental projects being carried out by his administration are aimed at benefiting the people of Nasarawa State and Nigerians in general.
The Governor stated this when a delegation from the Buku-Gbunchu-Kabre communities of Akwanga Local Government Area paid him a thank-you visit today.
Governor Sule explained that his commitment to constructing roads linking communities across Nasarawa State is part of his resolve to ensure that the people feel the impact of government without regard to their political affiliations.
He said measures have been put in place to compensate individuals whose lands were affected by the construction of the Buku-Gbunchu-Kabre road.
With the commitment to improving the socio-economic well-being of the people of Nasarawa State, Governor Abdullahi Sule said the visit by the delegation was a pointer to the unity he has always envisaged for the state.
The Governor maintained that his administration is determined to ensure that communities across the state feel the impact of government, stressing that the development of education, improved infrastructure and other areas of public interest would continue to receive attention.
Leading the delegation on the thank-you visit, Professor Samuel Alu appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for fulfilling their long-standing dream by constructing a road linking Buku, Gbunchu and Kabre communities.
He explained that the construction of the road had further opened up the agrarian communities along the axis, making it easier for farmers to transport their agricultural products to markets and other urban centres.
Apart from highlighting the socio-economic benefits of the road to communities along the axis, the delegation also called for increased government attention to the security and healthcare needs of the area.
