Imam Urges Muslims To Remain Focused On The Hereafter
The Chief Imam of Abdullahi Adamu Housing Estate Mosque, Lafia, Ustaz Umar Jangwa, has urged Muslims to remain focused on attaining Paradise.
He made the call during his Juma’at sermon at the mosque in Lafia.
Describing the Qur’an as the means through which every success is achieved, Imam Jangwa challenged Muslims to make the Qur’an their companion if they must succeed in life.
He said the Qur’an cures ailments of the mind, such as jealousy, hatred and backbiting, adding that whoever embraces it as personal guidance will never go astray.
He also bemoaned the attitude of some Muslims who concentrate on materialism rather than their permanent home, the Hereafter.
Emphasising the importance of seeking knowledge, he said God blesses every faithful who turns to Him in times of need and sorrow.
