Women’s Group Urged To Support Wadada, APC Candidates
The Chairman of the political pressure group, Omame Doma for Wadada 2027, Mustapha Sani Omame, has called on the people of Nasarawa State to support Senator Ahmad Aliyu Wadada and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
He made the call during a meeting with members of the United Women Movement in Doma.
Explaining the rationale behind the group’s support for Senator Ahmad Aliyu Wadada and other APC candidates, the Chairman of Omame Doma for Wadada 2027 in Doma, Mustapha Sani Omame, said their election would attract more dividends of democracy to the people.
Omame, who noted that “one tree cannot make a forest,” urged members of the United Women Movement and other groups across the state to support Senator Wadada, citing his track record and political experience.
“Wadada has done a lot for the people of Doma and therefore needs re-election for more dividends of democracy.”
Responding, the State President of the United Women Movement, Aisha Abdullahi Muhammad, said the doors of the movement are open to members of other political parties.
Aisha Abdullahi Muhammad further reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to working with individuals and groups that can contribute to the progress of the state, urging all stakeholders to close ranks and support initiatives geared towards fostering development across the state.
