Gov. Sule Recognizes Efforts of Ophthalmologists in Ensuring Healthy Vision for Nigerians
Nasarawa State Government has recognized the contributions of ophthalmologists in ensuring healthy vision for Nigerians.
Governor Abdullahi Sule made the observation while hosting the Organizing Committee of the 25th Annual Lecture of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria.
The visit by the team of Ophthomologists left Governor Abdullahi Sule elated as he welcomed the choice of his Deputy, Doctor Emmanuel Akabe to deliver the lecture at the Post Graduate Medical College.
Apart from assuring the participation of Nasarawa State in the upcoming event, the Governor equally noted the support of the state government for the successful staging of the event.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Professor Regina Morgan explained that they were at the government house to share in their experience of the grooming specialists in ophthalmologists.
Affirming the importance of sight, the faculty of ophthalmology at the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria is coming up with its annual general lecture in which the State Deputy Governor, Doctor Emmanuel Akabe is picked to deliver the faculty lecture with the title Building Partnerships for Sustainable Eye Care.
