The Old Boys Student Association (OBOSA) of Government Secondary School, Government Science School Obi, has taken measure to enhance the learning environment at their Alma Mater.  

The National President of OBOSA, Dr. Musa Abdullahi Mbalo, expressed the Association’s commitment during an event where instructional materials were presented to the School authorities in Obi. 

The donation of instructional materials, spearheaded by Dr. Peter Akwe, a member representing Obi one Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, included essential items such as White Boards, White Board markers, Dusters, and refill Inks. 

During the presentation, OBOSA National President Dr. Musa Abdullahi Mbalo, represented by Engineer Shuaibu Sidi Sale, emphasized the importance of alumni involvement in the development of schools, saying it should not solely be the responsibility of government. 

Dr. Ibrahim Peter Akwe, leader of Set 1990 and member representing Obi one Constituency, reaffirmed their commitment to elevate the learning environment by transitioning from analog to modern learning methods assuring of further support from the association to enable the school compete favourably with its contemporaries. 

The Principal of the School, Malam Abdul-Aziz Egwa Osude, expressed gratitude to OBOSA and Set 1990 for giving back to their Alma Mater and assured that the materials would be utilized effectively to facilitate a smooth transition from Black Board to White Board system. 

A Student Edomani Paul appreciated the Association for providing the much-needed instructional materials, urging other sets to follow suit in creating a conducive learning environment for all students.
