Speaker Nasarawa State House Of Assembly Hosts NASHIA And NAWECA Staff

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has commended the State Government’s positive intervention in the health sector.

The Speaker of the House, Danladi Jatau, stated this while playing hosts to staff of Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency (NASHIA) and the Centre for Women, Youth and Community Action (NAWECA) in his office in Lafia.

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Danladi Jatau commended the efforts of Gov. Abdullahi Sule on the state health sector through the health insurance saying the House will give the Governor all the needed support to enable him succeed in his health transformation policies.

Danladi Jatau assured that the House will support all health related programmes of the state government for the benefit of the people just as he advised them to do more in awareness creation.

In their presentations, leader of the team from Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency NASHIA, Reuben Yila and the Executive Director of NAWYCA, who is also the Special Adviser to Gov. Sule on Media and Publicity, Dr Nawani Aboki spoke extensively on the benefits of the program in taking healthcare services to the poor of the poorest and the need for Speaker and members of the house to key into the programme for their people.

In another development the Speaker, Danladi Jatau hosted Sakwato community in Kokona Local government who paid him a courtesy call assuring his people of Kokona West and the entire people of the State of more democratic dividends under the APC led government of Engr. Abdullahi Sule.

Speaker Jatau commended the effort of the state government for the construction of primary school Sakwato among other government interventions in the area noting that he is optimistic that in no distance time Governor Sule will construct Garaku-Bassa road.
