Residents of Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone Evaluate Work Done So Far by Gov. Sule
As Governor Abdullahi Sule clocks one year of his second term in office next week, residents of Nasarawa west senatorial zone have continued to recount his achievements in different sectors.
They made this known when NBS News went round to sample people’s opinions on the governor’s performance in the last one year.
Appraising Governor Abdullahi Sule’s last one year in office, some residents of Nasarawa West senatorial zone praised the Governor’s pragmatic commitment, courage, prudency and transparency in management of state resources.
According to them, the Governor’s competence has shown in ensuring that projects bequeathed to him by his prediscessors are completed within the scheduled time in line with his continuity agenda which has yielded positive results.
The Abaga Toni, Laurence Sylvester Ayih, said apart from transforming education sector, the Governor has also beamed his search light in agriculture by distributing farms inputs to farmers across the state.
On infrastructural provision, Abaga Toni noted that the Governor has launched massive infrastructure plan covering road construction, healthcare infrastructure, provision of portable drinking water and rehabilitation of schools structures across the state.
Also recognizing the importance of healthcare access for citizens of the state, a Karu based SSA to Governor Sule on NASHIA, Danteni Tambaya Bapa, hinted that the Governor, has demonstrated much commitment to ensuring access to quality healthcare for the citizens by empowering NASHIA and other relevant agencies to perform their work as expected to improve the healthcare service delivery.
Danteni, emphasized that, the Governor’s ambitious plan in one Year is poised to elevate the state’s infrastructure to world-class standards, attracting investments and fostering sustainable development, particularly, the recent commissioning of Lithium mining Company in Nasarawa Local government and Asgard Mining processing plant in Roguwa, Karu local government among others.
Also commenting on the achievements of Governor Abdullahi Sule, the secretary of Nasarawa emirate council, Doctor Idris Mohammed Loko, urged all sons and daughters of Nasarawa state to commend and support the giant strides of Governor Abdullahi sule for bringing investors in the mining, agriculture and oil sectors to boost the economy of the state.
The speakers maintained that the unwavering commitment to fulfilling his promises to his people and prioritizing the welfare of government workers has earned him recognition as a leader who puts the interests of his people first.
As Nasarawa State continues on this path of progress, Governor Abdullahi Sule’s legacy of inclusive and sustainable development is set to leave a lasting impact on the state’s future.
Similarly, Stakeholders in Nasarawa North Senatorial district have described the achievements of Governor Abdullahi Sule in the last one year in the zone as commendable and worthy of emulation.
They stated this in separate interviews with NBS NEWS ahead of the Governor’s first year anniversary of the second tenure in office
One thing that distinguishes Engineer Abdullahi Sule administration is the execution of people oriented policies and projects across all sectors of the economy of the state.
These legacy projects can be visibly seen spread across the three local government and four development areas of the zone as affirmed by the Council’s Chairmen of Akwanga Safiyanu Isa Andaha and Wamba, Asiru Suleiman Bala.
The duo described his achievements across board so far as commendable and worthy of emulation, maintaining that their people have never had it so well like this in terms of road networks, infrastructural development, empowerment, security, education, healthcare services among others.
For the Overseers of Akwanga West, Akun and Fariruwa Development Areas, Yunusa Adamu Amwe, Anvah Moses and Solomon Gbande, Governor Abdullahi Sule is truly the Engineer of Modern Nasarawa State as evidenced in the total transformation of the hinterlands, thereby making life more meaningful for the people.
Other areas they highlighted include completed and ongoing drilling of boreholes, building and renovation of health facilities such as the general hospital Gudi, opening of rural communities via roads construction, agricultural support, provision of scholarships and palliatives, prompt payment of salaries and pension among others.
All the speakers pledged unwavering support and total loyalty to the current administration, urging residents of the zone to cooperate and show understanding as Engineer Sule is committed to turning around the fortune of the State for the good of all.
