Keana Residents Get Free Medical Services
Over two thousand residents of Agaza community in Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have benefited from free medical services courtesy, the former Majority Leader, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Muhammad Adamu Omadefu.
Dr. Richards Melody, a Medical Officer with the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency made this known while briefing newsmen during the two-day free medical services in Agaza.
Before the commencement of the free medical services, the medical team led by Dr. Richards Melody, visited the palace of the traditional ruler of Agaza, the Osoku of Agaza, Muhammad Adeka for his royal blessings where the monarch commended Mohammed Adamu Omadefu for providing free medical services to people of the area.
At the field, the medical team attended to children, pregnant women and people with eye problems, cases of Blood Pressure, Diarrhea, and malaria among other illnesses.
Leader of the medical team, Dr. Richards Melody said the free medical service was to address the health challenges of the people of the area and its environs as her team targets 2,500 people.
Some beneficiaries, Yahaya Opara, Naomi Emmanuel, among others appreciated Mohammed Adamu Omadefu for the free medical services and prayed God to bless him in his future political endeavours, assuring him of their unalloyed support.
APC Chairman of Keana Local Government Area, Abraham Ishaleku lauded Mohammed Adamu Omadefu for the gesture, saying the free medical services would go a long way to improve the health status of the people of Agaza and its environs.
The APC Chairman used the medium to solicit the prayers, support and votes of the people of Agaza to enable Omadefu win the forthcoming re-run election in five polling units of Agaza electoral ward.
It would be reported that the Appeal Court Abuja has ordered INEC to conduct re-run in five polling units of Agaza ward of the constituency, thereby declaring the March 18 2023 Keana State Assembly elections, that saw Mohammed Adamu Omadefu winning as inconclusive.
