Nasarawa Speaker Calls for Action Against Kidnapping
Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker, Danladi Jatau, has urged security agencies to take decisive action against the growing cases of kidnapping in the state. This call was made during a visit to Dr. Haruna Joseph Kigbu, a former House of Representative Member, who was recently abducted and released by kidnappers.

The Speaker described the incident as “barbaric and unfortunate” and expressed dismay over the increasing trend of kidnapping in the country. He emphasized that kidnapping has become a business among some elements, and it’s essential to bring this menace to an end.
Call to Action
Speaker Jatau called on security agencies to intensify their efforts to combat kidnapping. He also sympathized with Dr. Kigbu over the death of his police orderly, who was shot by the kidnappers. The Speaker emphasized that security is everybody’s business and encouraged the people of the state to take an active role in preventing kidnapping.
