The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has emphasized the need for collective efforts from Nigerians to address the challenges hindering the country’s progress. Dr. Priscilla Gondoalauor, Nasarawa State Director of the agency, made this call during a press briefing in Lafia, marking the commencement of a campaign on security awareness, human rights, and the “get rich quick” syndrome in the state.

The agency aims to promote ethical values for national development, recognizing that a holistic approach is necessary to combat the quest for quick wealth among youths. Additionally, the NOA plans to create awareness on reducing the negative effects of HIV and AIDS, enlighten citizens on their fundamental human rights, and sensitize citizens on government policies.

The Director General of the NOA, Lanre Issa Onilu, represented by Sule Haruna, discussed the Federal Government’s tax reform bill, highlighting its positive benefits for Nigerians. Following the press briefing, the NOA management took the campaign to the School of Nurses and Science in Lafia, where students were encouraged to become good ambassadors of their institution.
