Migili Leader Calls For More Security Outfits Across Nasarawa Communities
The National President of the Migili Cultural and Development Association, Comrade Abu Isaac Ishaq, has called for the establishment of more security outfits across communities in Nasarawa State.
He made the call at Zherugba Community following the kidnapping of four community members, including the children of the Village Head of Zherugba, Elisha Ibrahim.
Expressing concern over the level of insecurity ravaging citizens across the state, the National President of the Migili Cultural and Development Association, Comrade Abu Isaac Ishaq, called for the establishment of more security units by the government to boost the confidence of the people.
While identifying with the Village Head of Zherugba, Comrade Abu Isaac Ishaq encouraged community leaders and youths to remain vigilant and expose bad elements within their communities, saying that some of the criminal activities being carried out have the involvement of insiders.
He also raised the alarm over the increasing rate of kidnapping across Migili communities, pointing out that no meaningful development can thrive in an atmosphere of insecurity. He also warned youths against the misplacement of priorities.
Responding, the Village Head of Zherugba Community, Elisha Ibrahim, appreciated the leadership of the Migili Cultural and Development Association for identifying with him over the sad development.
He also thanked God for the safe return of the victims and assured that he would work round the clock to mediate among the people and address such unfortunate incidents.
One of the victims, who narrated the ugly incident, Nehemiah Musa Zhemachwe, commended Comrade Abu Isaac Ishaq and his executive for the show of love and concern.
