Christians Urged To Embrace Thanksgiving Amid Life’s Challenges
Reverend Pwavi Livingstone of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Lafia has identified thanksgiving as one of the ways Christians can overcome the challenges of life.
Speaking on the topic, “Living a Life of Thanksgiving,” Reverend Pwavi Livingstone said thanksgiving is a virtue that attracts more blessings, especially from God.
According to Livingstone, God is pleased with believers who give Him thanks in every situation, saying ingratitude and constant complaining can prevent a person from receiving favour, even from God.
He urged Christians to be Christ-like in their conduct, assist those who are willing to submit to the will of God, and extend support to the needy in society.
At the CRCN Church behind Lafia Stadium, Elder Masa Ibi Shita also admonished Christians to embrace the spirit of forgiveness and encouraged them to always study the Word of God to strengthen their faith.
He called on Christians to depend on God for solutions to the challenges of life, stressing the importance of faith and trust in God during difficult times.
