Governor Sule Mourns Renowned Islamic Scholar
Governor Abdullahi Sule has described the death of renowned Islamic scholar Hafiz Alarama Bala Yusuf Idris as a colossal loss to the Muslim community.
Governor Sule stated this when he led some State Government officials to sympathise with the leadership of Izalatul Bidi’a Jos recently.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Aminu Mu’azu Maifata, Governor Abdullahi Sule explained that the late Islamic scholar, Hafiz Alarama Bala Yusuf Idris, contributed immensely to the growth and development of Islam.
The governor sympathised with the family of the late Islamic scholar and the entire leadership of Izalatul Bidi’a Jos Headquarters.
He prayed to God to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus, describing his death as a great loss that has created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill.
Responding, Sheikh Nasir Abdul Muhuyi, the National Administrative Officer, appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for identifying with them at their moment of grief.
He prayed to Almighty God to reward Governor Abdullahi Sule, as special prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased were offered.
